 FUNDRAISING FOR RESCUE Like other rescue groups, JRT Rescue needs your help, whether it be in the form of carers, helpers, sponsorship, money or goods. The sale price does not always cover expenses of caring, transport, boarding and vet fees, so the difference needs to be made up from other sources. Jack Russell Rescue is now DGR accredited, any donation over $2.00 can be receipted so that you can receive a Tax deduction. Wish List Carers: More foster carers are also needed. It is much better if they can be cared for in foster homes until they find their forever home. This also helps Jill to better assess the dogs and get to know them. Helpers: To help with the dogs that are boarding, general kennel duties etc. Donations: Jack Russell Rescue group is self funding and frequently the cost of the dog doesn't cover the expenses of the vet work and boarding. Donations over $2 are tax ineluctable. Sponsor a Rescue Dog: If you are unable to adopt a Jack Russell but would still like to help, you can assist rescue by sponsoring one of the dogs Just go the jrtrescue.net website and contact Jill if you can help. and help them find new forever homes 1. Posters Distributing our posters in your neighbourhood, local businesses, Vets, workplace notice boards and community notice boards. There are some posters that you can download and print. CLICK HERE 2. Craft and Sewing If you can make things like basic Dog Coats for our dogs that would be a great help. If you make something really fancy we may be able to use it for some fundraising too. 4. Plastic Kennels If you have a spare plastic kennel that is still serviceable and small-medium in size please contact Jill to find out where to deliver it. These can turn up at Garage Sales sometimes too. jrtrescue@pnc.com.au 5. For Sale Keep and eye on the Items For Sale section on the rescue site, for something you might like to purchase. More items will be listed as they come to hand. Also if you have something to donate that we can sell that would be helpful. 6. Newsletter Subscription jrtrescue.net puts out a bi-monthly newsletter that you can subscribe to for a small fee. CLICK HERE 7.
